Mark Cary
Vice President & Chief Actuary

Mark Cary joined Aveta in August 2008 as Vice President & Chief Actuary with over 20 years of experience in the managed healthcare industry. Mark was most recently the Senior Actuary for Medicare at Independence Blue Cross in Philadelphia, PA, and prior to that was the Chief Actuary of a local Medicaid & Medicare HMO, also located in Philadelphia. He also has more than ten years of consulting experience providing a wide range of actuarial services to managed care clients. Mr. Cary has his B.S. in Mathematics from Villanova University, and is both an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
