Angela Weyne

Angela Weyne is an Executive Vice President. Ms. Weyne joined Aveta in July 2007, serving as President of MMM Healthcare and PMC. In 2008, she was promoted to an EVP of Aveta. Previously, Ms. Weyne was President of Popular Insurance and Popular Re, the first reinsurance company incorporated in Puerto Rico, both subsidiaries of Popular, Inc. Prior to that she was president of Caribbean American Life Insurance Company and Caribbean American Property Insurance company, a life, property and casualty insurance company, both subsidiaries of Assurant Group. Ms. Weyne is a member of the World Presidents Organization (WPO) and is outgoing Chair of the Local Chapter. In addition, she has served or is serving as a board member for entities such as the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce, Asociación de Compañías de Seguros de Puerto Rico, the Trust of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, Universidad Central del Caribe, and many others. Ms. Weyne received her B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico.
