Medicare Advantage

Aveta’s Medicare Advantage plans offer seniors comprehensive benefits that not only meet their medical needs but also contribute to their emotional and mental well-being. Whether its access to a specialist or to one of our Members Clubs, every benefit offered to our patients improves their overall quality of life.

With satisfaction rates reaching 99 percent, a disenrollment rate that is 40 percent lower than last year and significantly higher rates of preventive screening and health management among beneficiaries, Aveta’s Medicare Advantage plans are achieving successes that lead the industry.

Today, Aveta operates two Medicare Advantage plans:

The first and leading Medicare Advantage plan in Puerto Rico and the fastest growing in the United States, MMM Healthcare, Inc. (MMM) promotes the physical and emotional well-being of its members through high-quality care and innovative and value added programs. With satisfaction rates consistently in the 90th percentile and a retention rate of 98 percent, MMM is used by almost 160,000 members.

In 2011, MMM along with their sister company, PMC Medicare Choice, Inc. (PMC), earned Commendable Accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). MMM and PMC are the first, and to this date, the only health plans in Puerto Rico to obtain NCQA Accreditation, Achieving an accreditation status of Commendable from NCQA is a sign that a health plan is serious about quality. It is awarded to plans whose service and clinical quality meet or exceed NCQA’s rigorous requirements for consumer protection and quality improvement.
